A picture or my first runnings of my “Saison De Rojo”. This ale features home toasted dark wheat along with a base of Vienna malt and caramunich and a darker crystal malt to get that deep red color.

This is the second brew session of the weekend. Brewed a toasted lager last night with home toasted pils, belgian pale malt, victory and special roast (of course), some light English crystal, and finally a touch of pale chocolate. I used the great dry lager yeast saflager 34/70 as its simple to use for brewing on the fly! Just a quick update…cheers!
